Activity 1: Theme and evidence
From a story or article: What is the theme or main idea? Quote one sentence that supports it.
Activity 2: Essay outline
Write an outline for a short essay: intro (main idea), 2 body points, conclusion.
Activity 3: Revise
Write a short paragraph. Then revise one sentence to make it clearer or more detailed.
