- Write complete sentences and short narratives; use basic capitalization and punctuation.
Activity 1: Comprehension
After reading a short passage or book: Who is the main character? What happened? Where did it happen? When?
Activity 2: Write a sentence
Write two complete sentences about something you did today. Use a capital letter and a period for each.
Activity 3: Short story
Write or tell a very short story (3–4 sentences) with a beginning, middle, and end.
